People make more than 200 food decisions a day, many on "autopilot"
While people estimate that they make about 15 food and beverage decisions each day, they actually make more than 200 such choices, say researchers at Cornell University in the US.

The NZ Food Safety Authority says NZers are focusing on the negative effects of trans fatty acids (TFAs) in food, but may be overlooking their saturated fat intake. The NZFSA's Jenny Reid says New Zealanders' consumption of saturated fat is a far bigger concern than TFAs in terms of risks to overall health.
