Allergy-induced asthma more common in wealthier countries
Where you live may affect the type of asthma you develop, research suggests. A study has found youngsters in affluent, developed countries had more allergy-triggered asthma symptoms than children in poorer countries.

Gluten Free Food and Allergy Show

Safe Foods - www.mfd.co.nz The New Zealand Manufactured Food Database produces commercial food lists (lists of "safe food") of New Zealand brand name foods including milk and lactose-free products.

Medicines Information- Consumer Medicines Information (CMI) is useful information about your medicine and is written especially for you. CMI contains advice such as what the medicine is used for, how it should be taken, what side effects can occur, whether you can drive or drink alcohol while taking the medicine, and what to do if you miss a dose. However, CMI do not contain all the available information about the medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about taking the medicine.

Product recalls Information on products with misinformation on their labels. The manufacturers have recalled these products from major New Zealand outlets and have offered to refund New Zealand consumers who return the products.
